The Club

Founded in 1824, the Oriental Club is one of London’s most exclusive Private Members’ Clubs. Its home – Stratford House - is tucked away at the end of Stratford Place, opposite Bond Street Station.

In the nineteenth century, the Club’s then Chef – Richard Terry, wrote one of Britain’s first Indian Cookery Books entitled Indian Cookery, and this continues to influence the menus of the Club today. The Club is passionate about sourcing only the best ingredients and the food is focused on seasonal, high-quality produce. Today, menus are contemporary whilst retaining a selection of well-loved British Club Classics. Some dishes draw inspiration from the Club’s history, with Eastern influences, including the famous Curries.

Oriental Club Dine at Home

The Club launched its Oriental Club Dine at Home delivery service in 2020 as a way of bringing a taste of the Club to people’s homes in somewhat unconventional times. This nationwide premium meal delivery service continues to go from strength to strength and you do not have to be a Club Member to order. You may now order their specially selected signature dishes to be delivered Nationwide or gift their delicious meals to friends, family and colleagues.

A best seller is the Eastern Menu for two which features two generous portions of Curry, along with fragrant Basmati Rice, Tandoor-baked Naan Bread and delicious Dal.
